Who is FMNC?

Fuller Moore Nuemann Consulting LLC “FMNC” is a nexus of interdisciplinary thinkers and doers taking a holistic view of clients organizations, including their product, social and enivronmental impact, current and future market dynamics, and how shifts in these elements may result from their introduction, through adaptive strategic planning.

What we believe :

When we began to consider manmade systems of all kinds as a dynamic entity due to man’s inherent fallibility, it helped shape the understanding that the majority of manmade systems must have easily identifiable deficits. Further, the vast majority possess forces that are commonly perceived as competing with each other, a give and take scenario as perceived in nature; contraction and expansion, gravitation and radiation. However, identifying of these forces as being in competition with one another we see as a gross misperception, or minimally a poor characterization.

“The natural world can never be in competition with itself, because its prime function is to maintain both relative equilibria and measured growth. What people commonly identify as competing forces in nature are in fact quite the opposite.”      -David Palmer, CoFounder of FMNC

One thing most can certainly agree on is modern man must be viewed currently as consistently attempting to deviate outside of the “natural” order, and thusly man faces monumental challenges created by the very nature of such disturbance. We have found that no matter your views on religion, mathematics is able to provide beyond question, that we exist in a universe that is ordered, quantifiable, and universally interdependent.

We understand these views may be academically controversial, but time and time again when science or religion for that matter has tried to identify natural “phenomena” as a chaotic occurrence in its natural function, history has continued to prove that as man’s understanding of such a system grows, we find that order was always there, waiting to be “discovered”.

In the same way, logic and reason must be applied as the basis to morals and ethics, in order to fully explain to one another why these are critical to the survival of civility, mathematics must be applied as the quantitative tool for analysis, and logic and reason also used to provide a framework for qualitative analysis of all interrelated nodes in ANY system we wish to perpetuate.

To explain further, the same way geometry is applied to visualize interdependencies, corollaries, causality, strengths, weaknesses, and the like, to help plot a framework for the overall integrity of a structure, in a similar manner, all exchanges in this universe can be communicated, and all therefore must be guided by the same principals as one another in order to function.

Furthermore, for the sake of business, many often view that the competition is between their company and another. We even label them “the competition”. However, when a corporation further elevates their understanding, the next level seems to be one of competing with the thoughts of the consumer in order to convince them that they should spend their dollars on your widget in the first place, as opposed to not spending their dollars at all.

At FMNC, we whole heartedly assert the premise that the real competition lies internally, in a company’s understanding of how it fits within the complex market system’s environment, and what benefit it offers to the world by way of an improved means of efficiency through proprietary means, which results in the consumer receiving their desired outcome. The most successful companies understand this as the primary force behind their longevity. Markets may be finite, but by way of adapting strategic planning, we are helping clients knock at the door of the infinite.

In Practice :

We start by gaining a deep understanding of the client’s desired outcome, and in the absence of clearly identified outcomes, we help those take shape by identifying more base level desires as the foundation for creating corporate goals.

By then applying data informed complex systems analysis; ranging from macro systems such as global markets, to smaller systems such as product development or intercommunications, depending on our solicited area of focus, we begin to model out the existing systems in a cybernetic fashion.

Once these models have been established, and goals are identified, we begin to formulate an efficient methodology for the implementation of the processes and procedures necessary to achieve these ends by means of spurning creativity among each of the team members, and reinforcing a culture of collaboration between FMNC and our client, and among team members within our client’s organization, delivering further enhancement to overall productivity.

With procedures in place, we next begin to focus on the adaptive strategic planning by laying out a modeled dynamic framework to continue “guiding the ship” as the winds of change blow throughout the journey, in order to be sure to arrive at the desired destination. Even if that destination changes along the way through new discoveries. By combining the interdisciplinary sciences of cybernetics, synergetics, game theory, feedback loops, and the implementation of continual improvement processes, FMNC’s approach continues to deliver desired outcomes for our clients, whether those be parabolic growth or a return to equilibrium, together we achieve these by means of increased efficiency, that continues to serve our clients long in to the future.

Lastly, in contrast to other industry consultants, FMNC’s approach is not one of simply making recommendations. Our commitment to our clients is one for the long term. We become both partner and collaborator in the sense that we bare the burden of the team project’s ultimate success, and stay on through long term well into implementation. We aim to structure our compensation to be reflective of one that is heavily reliant on positive performance in achieving the desired outcome throughout the lifetime of each of our projects, further aligning the relationship between consultant and client. (In other words, we put our money where our mouth is.) With this in mind, and in the interest of efficiency, we are highly selective as to the clients we take on, and to what end, in order to maintain our ability to offer our holistic approach to meeting the needs of each and every one our clients.
